Known only as Big Daddy Dirtball to his fans, family and friends for the past 35 years, Dirtball was a founding member of Milwaukee’s best-known festival band, Barry’s Truckers. During his 20 years with them he played lead guitar, keyboards and bass and sang back-up vocals. He went on to form the popular Duo Tones duo with Paul Barry as a vocalist and bass player. More recently Dirtball brought his vocal skills and bass guitar virtuosity to the classic rock band Past-Time.

Larry honed his rock & roll skills in the Omaha, Nebraska area before moving to Wisconsin in 1974. A rock & roll musician in college, Larry later pursued a career as a solo folk and country music performer playing clubs around the mid-west. In 1995 Larry became the bass player and back-up vocalist for Impact of Sound a classic rock band based in Hartford, WI. In 1998 Larry joined the classic rock band Past-Time as a vocalist and guitar player.

Dirtball and Larry formed Looking Back in the summer of 2004. Looking Back is a tribute to the greatest rock & roll songs of the 40 year era between 1950 and 1990. Using “backing track” technology to augment Dirtball’s acoustic string bass and Larry’s electric and acoustic guitars, Looking Back produces a sound that is surprisingly big for a duo. Whether it’s the sound of a Buddy Holly rocker or the big band sound of the rhythm and blues standard “Hey Bartender”, Looking Back brings it all to a live performance filled with fun, laughter and great music from two veteran performers who have lived rock & roll since the beginning.
